    Hello again CSTA Community,

I'm also in the process of revising an Entrepreneurship elective for 8th grade students (semester-long), and I'd love your input.

One of our goals this year is to increase motivation and make the experience more authentic by connecting students with local businesses or organizations that may be interested in offering startup funding or mentorship for student-created business ideas.

Has anyone here done something similar-where students pitch ideas and potentially receive seed money, even small amounts, to bring their ideas to life?
If so, how did you approach community partnerships or find sponsors?

Also, if anyone has a middle-school-appropriate business plan template or a format that's worked well in your classroom, I'd love to see an example or suggestion.

We want to keep the process age-appropriate but still give students a meaningful introduction to entrepreneurial thinking, planning, and presenting.

Thanks so much in advance for sharing your experiences or pointing me in the right direction!

    Best,
