The membership of the existing CSTA chapters in NY have approved the proposal to merge to CSTA New York. The proposed bylaws and leadership were also approved by over 85% of the votes. Thank you for taking the time to vote. As previously stated, this merger will create a greater opportunity for Computer Science teachers' voices from across the state to be heard, and establish a support channel for our teachers on a statewide level. The Department of Computer Science at West Chester University is hosting an in-person and hackathon for local high school students in our surrounding Berks, Chester, Lancaster, and York counties.
