Our friends at PaTTAN are planning several professional learning events this fall, including cybersecurity education via capture the flag challenges (in-person 10/15-16, 10/22-23, and 10/29-30), a CS+AI summit (in-person 11/17-18), and virtual sessions for K-8 CS teaching and learning, grades 7-12 accessibility, praxis prep, cybersecurity, and remote pilot operations (FAA Part 107), among others! The Department of Computer Science at West Chester University is hosting an in-person and hackathon for local high school students in our surrounding Berks, Chester, Lancaster, and York counties. (Other counties and out-of-state students are welcome to join too!) 3.5 hours of hacking are built into the day, as well as lunch, snacks, learning, and lots of fun!
