Join NOLA_CODE for an invaluable professional learning opportunity. Sign up for our FREE professional development workshop on Cyber Literacy I and Cyber Society. Open to all Louisiana middle and high school teachers (in-service or pre-service), the workshop will be held online July 6–9 and led by the course provider @Cyber.org!
These courses are listed under three STEM career pathways curated by the Louisiana Department of Education. They are part of a course progression that prepares students for the CompTIA Security+, an IBC of value. Students who sit for the exam can help their school improve its performance score. Participating teachers also receive a COMPLIMENTARY CS PRAXIS registration. As you all may well know, a score of 149 or higher on the exam may qualify teachers in our state for computer science teacher certification.
