Before COVID, I reached out to local companies near my school to ask for volunteers to come in during CS Ed week. We held a school-wide Hour of Code and the volunteers helped run an HOC activity. I also have had professionals from tech companies come in and run sessions (resume workshop, women in tech panel, Raspberry Pi workshop, and Python intro) for my students during an all-day conference style event during CS Ed Week. Tech Jam was a great way to connect with local companies who might be interested in volunteering.
