Hey all,
So most of the AI code generation I've seen using Claude, Cursor, or Gemini has been ... OK... but not really production ready. A couple of days ago I heard about bolt.new which is from StackBlitz. It does a pretty good job of creating a front end based on the frameworks you choose. The big draw I think of Bolt.new is their use of something called Web Containers, which allow you to self-host backend code too and even use SqlLite DB's. The Web Containers are built using Web Assembly.
I found quite a few videos about it. This one was pretty amazing. Of course, it's not production ready code or anything. But in terms of getting a lot of boilerplate code out of the way for students, this looks promising.
