I've been asked to share this for Code.org's regional partner, AVID.
-----
- We are offering a fall on line training for CS Discoveries. Our hope is to assist middle/high school educators who got a new teaching assignment, took a new job, or perhaps couldn't make a summer training. We'll offer CSD in 3-hour modules on Saturday mornings from August 19 through October 21 (we'll skip Labor Day weekend). We are confident we'll have a scholarship for most if not all applicants. This course will be virtual, leveraging Zoom and the Canvas LMS. A shareable flyer is attached (or at this link); or folks can begin an application here: https://code.org/educate/professional-learning/program-information.
- For K-5, our team has developed a new suite of virtual Deep Dive options, focusing on particular areas of educator interest. The workshops are primarily designed for educators who've already taken a CS Fundamentals Intro training or are using Code.org curriculum (though that isn't required) and are looking to expand their skills. There is no cost for these workshops. A flyer is attached; interested educators should visit the following link to indicate interest:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf9oi6hI_vEDxHTgs0VD1KuUtRfAxvfUXU-wzltZDKvaoFD7Q/viewform
