What:  A welcoming group of educators (and folks who care about CS education) at all levels, exploring books that challenge and inspire us to make CS education more equitable, joyful, and identity inclusive.
When: Second Tuesday of the month, 6:30-7:30pm-ish.

🍂October meetup will be on Oct 14.  We'll discuss Atlas of AI: Power, Politics, and the Planetary Costs of Artificial Intelligence by Kate Crawford.  You can pick up a copy at Ada's or order from https://adasbooks.com/.

Super low pressure!  Read the whole book, part of the book, or none of the book and just come for the community and vibes!  Find us in the cafe area unless otherwise noted.

Want to get a head start on November?  We'll meetup on Nov 11 to talk about Trans Technologies by Oliver L. Haimson (book is Open Access).

If you plan to come by, it would be great if you could send me a message or leave a note in this thread so we can make sure we have enough reserved seating for all.

Hope to see you there! 📚
