Discover how Artificial Intelligence can come alive in your classroom through hands-on projects using micro:bits, robots, and block-based coding.
In this interactive introductory workshop, educators will explore how students can train simple AI models for object, sound, and gesture recognition—and connect them to physical devices for creative, real-world applications.
Participants will engage in demonstrations and guided activities using accessible tools such as Block Coding, Google Teachable Machine and Create AI, and will leave with ready-to-use lessons and resources.
No prior experience is required. We will use these tools
Google Teachable Machine: https://teachablemachine.withgoogle.com/
Three visually distinct objects
Create AI: https://createai.microbit.org/
A V2 Micro:bit
Optional for Connecting to Robots A Finch Robot, a Hummingbird Robotics Kit, or a second micro:bit
You can attend and participate in this workshop the way that works best for you.
