Equipping Educators for Cyber Success: Featuring CYBER.ORG

Cyber.org’s Approach to CS in Rural Schools

Presenter: Linda Morgan

Teaching computer science in a rural setting comes with unique strengths and challenges. Join us as we welcome Linda Morgan to share Cyber.org’s Approach to CS in Rural Schools. This session is designed to empower K-12 educators with flexible, standards-aligned resources that work regardless of your district's size or budget.

Linda will guide us through CYBER.ORG’s no-cost curriculum, demonstrating how to integrate cybersecurity concepts into your existing classes—from elementary awareness to high school technical skills. Whether you are a solo CS teacher or part of a growing department, you will leave with actionable tools to help your students become confident, cyber-literate citizens.

Why You Should Attend:

  • Tailored for You: Discover strategies specifically designed to close the gap in rural CS education.
  • Free Resources: Get direct access to CYBER.ORG’s library of K-12 content.
  • Community Connection: Connect with other South Dakota educators navigating similar classroom environments.
