    About the Awards

    There will be three $1500 awards*:

    • One elementary teacher (TK – 5)
    • One middle school teacher (6-8)
    • One high school teacher (9-12)

    * Taxes will be deducted from the $1500 award upon payment.

    Eligibility

    To be eligible for the award, you must be a TK-12 teacher (public, private, charter, online, etc.) in the Greater Los Angeles area who teaches and/or integrates computer science in your classroom. You must also be able to attend the awards ceremony at CSUDH on Thursday, December 7th, 5:30 – 7:30pm.

    Submission Process to Apply and Timeline

    Complete the application form by Monday, October 2nd (any time) to be considered.

    You will need to submit (and will be assessed on):

    1. A CS lesson plan in any format that aligns with CA CS Standards and the SITE mission and vision
    2. A 2-5 min video reflection that discusses the lesson, its implementation, and alignment with #1
    3. One or more anonymized student work samples from the lesson implementation
