GTA is a Cybersecurity-focused, commuter, and free professional development opportunity for STEM 9-12 grade high school teachers funded by NSA and NSF. In the summer of 2022, we hosted Connecticut's first GTA and we received over 80 applicants. This year, we are welcoming applications from the North East region. Therefore, we are seeking your precious support in helping attract STEM 9-12 grade high school teachers from Massachusetts for the coming GTA 2023 which will be hosted by the University of New Haven, July 10-14, 2023.

Among the provided incentives, Massachusetts teachers will obtain:

    • $1500 stipend for full program participation (including remote pre- and post-camp activities)
    • Free Chromebook to take back to your classroom
    • Open access to all curricula material and lesson plans
    • Free week-long camp focused on Networks, Python, Cybersecurity, Cryptography, and Social Engineering
    • Free membership to the Gencyber Teacher Academy Learning Community

More information about the program eligibility, benefits, schedule, application rules, and important dates is available on the program website (gencyber.newhaven.edu).
