In 2023, the AP CS A exam is on May 3 and the AP CS Principles is on May 8. The IB CS exam is on May 5 and May 8. So many schools in Washington have several weeks after the exam where they have much more flexibility regarding lesson plans.
Please share your ideas or plans for AP/IB CS students during the post-exam period here. How successful have they been?
In the past, I have done modules on AI and Data Science, investigations into Computing and Society, and Choose Your Own projects where students start defining the project (does not need to be code) they want to work on after the exam at the end of third quarter.
