I am working with Amy Ko on a research project investigating the experiences and needs of PNW middle/high school CS teachers concerning communities of practice. Amy told me you are willing to distribute the research survey link through your network of CS teachers. Below is the text and the survey link that can be included on a slide, newsletter, and/or email. I also attached a QR code.

We are a group of Pacific Northwest teachers and educators trying to understand what middle and high school CS teachers need from a community of practice in the Pacific Northwest. We want to hear from those who teach or have taught, computing-related courses: introduction to CS, Exploring Computer Science (ECS), Computer Science Principles (CSP), Advanced Placement CSA/CSB, Game design/development, Robotics, Web Design/Dev, computer programming, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Networking. We are, additionally, interested in listening to teachers who feel marginalized in their role as CS teachers. Are you willing to fill out this short 5-minute survey to shape our understanding? If you know PNW CS teachers who would be willing to participate in the survey, please pass this link along to your network.

We ultimately want to offer ways to connect with other CS teachers in your region, and these results will help shape our efforts.

Thank you so much for your help with the survey distribution effort. Best, Max
