We have the infrastructure set up for it, Class Class Codes, etc. Very few take advantage of it. Mostly because you can be deemed career-ready (State term) with 3 pathway classes and an industry certification. Internships in the 4th year class and most of them take another elective. Also finding spots for them is hard. This year we have two students doing an In-school internship. They are working on special VR projects. Currently, they are making a VR tour of the school for Freshman orientation. They are also going to make a virtual Jamestown for 5th-grade classes and a virtual restaurant for the Spanish classes. This is the first time we have done this so it is a work in progress. So far so good.

Do your students do internships? If so, how do you set it up? If not, why not?
This is actually the first year I have students doing internships. My district CTE department reached out to some indies in my area and they set up an MOU for a remote internship for a student. They are doing their applications right now and will start in January.
