    We are actually having a books with bots the following week, It is not exactly AI

    But it is does involve coding,

    I want to try out some AI art with my kiddos.  I haven't done this type of program with my kids yet, but I think it will be a fun new activity.  Then I want to print these out and display them on the kids lockers.

    As far as balanced, I hadn't really thought too much about doing things unplugged!  This will make me take a few minutes and think about some different things I can do to change things up!

    I really like the unplugged activity with cups and student pairs of robot/programmer to direct each other how to stack the cups.

    We definitely need unplugged for the hour of code to go schoolwide.

    For plugged actvities, I usually just have my students pick and encourage them to do either the most recent hour of code from code.org or any that looks interesting that they haven't done before.

    I will have unplugged and physical devices in my classroom to best monitor and guide students. For teachers who want to use it in their own classrooms, I am going to suggest they use the Hour of code website. I am still waiting on what new AI activities they will add to it in the next month.

    for an unplugged idea I could have my students do an ai algorithm activity. For example, play 'guess who' to demonstrate the decision tree algorithm.

    This could lead into an online activity where the students run the decision tree algorithm with code.

    HS-12th Grade (and 9th Advisory)

    Hour of Code:

    Some of my seniors want to redesign an Uno deck, so we can have a game conditional remix challenge.  Students also like learning how to play chess with our chessboard, and students can design their own paper deck

    A lot of students like playing the class chessboard, so we can loop in a CS and Chess lesson to talk about using the grid to plot graphics for animations and games.

    Creativity with AI:

    Dall-E Prompt Art Contest

    Have students brainstorm prompts in teams to generate artwork and then have each section vote for the top 5 graphics to turn into posters for the winning team.

    College level - Currently I am using the AI 101 for Educators series on the Code.org website and assisting future educators in practicing prompts to use AI to help with common tasks.  During Hour of Code week I will have my PK-12 future educators explore the Code.org Hour of Code lessons to find one that they think they might want to use once they begin teaching.  Then I will have them complete the activity and take notes on things they will want to remember about it when they are ready to use it in the classroom.

    Making use of Google's "Teachable Machines" to demonstrate how to use "Supervised Machine Learning" in a fun way, with minimal code input by the students.  The code for the ML Model is automatically generated for the students to see what is happening "under the hood" of the ML Model.
