So I began with PreK- 1st grades. Well spoke about the different ways to say Hello in different languages. Then made a connection to how computers have a language..called code blocks.
I sang a hello song with the students it was so much fun.
I introduced 3 sets of code blocks that shows up in ScratchJr.
Motion Blocks blue, Sound Blocks green, and End blocks red.
It was when we got to the Sound blocks that students identified the "pop" and the Record. The song is attached
Next meeting we will finish up the other code blocks and apply this to the scratch Tactile 3D blocks.
