Happy Halloween!
The executive board members from the CSTA NY chapters have progressed in combining our chapters into one statewide chapter. This merger will create a greater opportunity for Computer Science teachers' voices from across the state to be heard, and establish a support channel for our teachers on a statewide level. Additionally, we are committed to hosting events, such as professional development and networking events both virtually and in-person across the state.
This statewide chapter will allow us to better serve educators from all regions of New York, ensuring that their unique needs and perspectives are represented, and that in-person events happen in many different parts of the state. In order to move forward we need chapter members to approve the merger.
Please look for an email in your inbox on Tuesday November 4th to vote on our chapters merging. This voting period will close on Tuesday, November 11th.
