Happy New Year!  Try Out A New Professional Resolution: Learn a New Computer Programming Language with Fellow K-12 Educators

    Hello!

On Thursday, January 20th from 4:00 to 5:30 PM PT, we invite you to connect with other K-12 and postsecondary educators from across Northern California at the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) Sacramento virtual monthly chapter meeting. Take a moment to register here for the Zoom link

This month, we will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of programming languages that are used in industry - and can be used in our classrooms!  Tune in for a “Nifty Lesson” about Java, P5.JS, Python, and Blockly.  Additionally, we will have the opportunity to hear from the CSEdResearch.org team in the monthly “Partner Presentation” segment of the meeting.

Of course, the meeting will also include lots of time to collaborate with fellow K-12 and postsecondary educators (Speed Networking, Resource Sharing, Member Shout Outs! and the Infamous “Appy-Hour”).  Lastly, you won’t want to miss the monthly raffle that includes three fantabulous prizes.  Check out the agenda for all of the details!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

    Sincerely,

The CSTA Sacramento Leadership Team (Lily M., Wendy, Sean, Rudy, Jonathan, Lily C., and Jared)
