We are holding a webinar on Monday, Oct. 7, from 4 - 5 p.m. CT to provide an early preview of the State of CS Report for CSTA leaders. It's not open to most members, but there will be upcoming events targeting them based on their roles. The goal here is to share a sneak peek and embargoed copy of the report so that leaders can think about how to use it in their respective communities, committees, and projects.
You're invited to an early preview of the 2024 State of CS Report!
Monday, October 7, 2024
4 - 5 p.m. CT via Zoom
Each year, CSTA works with the Code.org Advocacy Coalition and the Expanding Computing Education Pathways (ECEP) Alliance to publish a report on the state of K-12 computer science in the United States. This report provides an update on national and state-level computer science education policy, including policy trends, maps, state summaries, and implementation data, including detailed access and participation trends. The 2024 report will be published on October 15 at
https://advocacy.code.org/stateofcs/, where you can also find reports from the last seven years. We invite you to a sneak preview of the 2024 report just for CSTA leaders.
We will review the latest trends in the draft report and discuss how we can use the report to support our communities. We'll also share an embargoed copy of the report so you can know exactly what to expect when it launches on October 15th.
