Are you ready for the CSTA 2024 Chapter Leadership Summit (#2024CLS) in Las Vegas?

Take a look at the CLS Agenda here. Did you know that previous CLS Agendas and resources are also found in these Google Sheets, separated by tabs at the bottom?

As part of the BEFORE the BEFORE YOU GO, please make note of the checklist below:

    1. Review the Agenda, making note of the days and times for the CLS:
      • Day 1: Mon, July 15 - CLS Reception (Room: Forum Ballroom 134) 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. PT
      • Day 2: Tues, July 16 - Chapter Leadership Summit (Room: Forum Ballroom 134) 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. PT
    2. Identify CLS breakout sessions you might want to attend, i.e. Advocating for Allies and Access with Reflective Questions
    3. Please be sure that your chapter's annual reporting is complete (still missing several chapters):
      • 2023-24 Goal Progress (< 5 min; due July 1) - Locate your chapter's goals on this spreadsheet, and update columns I and J only. Please note any adjustments you made in column J.
      • Chapter Annual Reporting + Success Rubric Self-Assessment Ratings (~ 25 min; due July 1) - Please be honest in your responses and self-assessment. If you're a new or recently rejuvenated chapter, your ratings will likely be low, and that's okay. Even the most established chapters will have areas for growth.
    4. Update your Slide for the 2024 Chapter Leadership Summit Reception
      • We can share a slide deck on the monitors during the event, and we thought it would be awesome if each chapter could update 1 slide from this premade deck highlighting something you're proud of from the past couple of years or promoting an upcoming event! Slides from 2022 are currently in the deck to serve as guidance.
    5. Make sure your travel is set for CSTA's 2024 Conference
      • Recently CSTA has learned that some individuals were not able to verify their booked flight confirmation with our travel partner, Egencia. Individuals approved to travel through Egencia must ensure they have a flight that has the status of BOOKED. For questions: Contact  operations@csteachers.org - PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD WITH TRAVEL QUESTIONS.

More information and updates to follow next week in the Before You Go message.

    See you in Vegas!
