I'm reaching out because, in addition to my work here, I am volunteering with ACM RESPECT 2026, the premier venue for research on equity, inclusion, and justice in computing. This year's hybrid conference will be held June 8–10, 2026, in Chicago, IL. Below is what I've been sharing with potential partners for the event. ACM RESPECT is the premier venue for research on equity, inclusion, and justice in computing. This year's theme, "Equity-focused CS Education: Honoring the Plurality of our Community," highlights the scholarship of our diverse community to authentically address these issues. We believe that many hands can make the work of dismantling systemic barriers in tech education lighter.
RESPECT has been an excellent partner to CSTA, and given the significant overlap in our audiences, vision, and mission, I immediately thought of you. In fact, three of my CSTA colleagues are also volunteering their time for this event because we believe so strongly in its impact. Will you join us?
