To share with your chapter's members (and for you too!):

    What is Coolest Projects?

Coolest Projects celebrates young digital creators and the amazing things they make with technology. There's an annual worldwide, online Coolest Projects showcase as well as in-person Coolest Projects events in several countries.

Coolest Projects is back in 2025 – check out events near you!

    How does it work?

    • Find the Coolest Projects showcase for you – there's a worldwide online showcase open to all and in-person events in some countries.
    • Make your project – digital and computing projects of any level and any kind are welcome. You can make something new or choose something you've already made and are proud of.
    • Register your project – tell us about you and your project. An adult needs to register for young people under 13. Over 13s can register themselves, or an adult can do it.
    • We moderate your project – we check every entry, and then we'll let you know when your project is in our online gallery or has a place at an in-person event.
    • Celebrate what you've made – join your in-person event or the online celebration and share your project with the world.

    Online showcase

    Registration is open 14 January - 28 May 2025.

The Coolest Projects online showcase is open to any young person up to age 18, anywhere in the world! Creators can share digital tech creations with the world in our online gallery, join a celebration livestream and receive certificates and fun digital swag, all for free.

    USA event

    Registration is open 14 January - 14 March 2025.

This free in-person event for young digital creators based anywhere in the USA will take place on Saturday 5 April 2025 at the Science Museum of Minnesota.

Partial scholarships are available to help with travel costs. Project registration opens on January 14, 2025. Find out more at coolestprojects.org!
