After completing this course, I feel more comfortable with the new standards and seeing how each concept progresses through grade levels. This information has been so helpful. My next course of action is to figure out how to weave these new standards into PD sessions that I have coming up so that more teachers are aware of the changes and how they can incorporate these into things they are already doing in their classroom.
One question I have: What would be some specific talking points that I could include in my presentations? As in like some ways to intrigue teachers to want to look at these standards more.
