    This July, the CSTA Chapter Leadership Summit will take place virtually (in Hopin) on Monday, July 10 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. CT. 

    You should have received a Magic Link invite via Hopin for the CLS, but just in case it got filtered somewhere, you can register directly here: 2023 Chapter Leadership Summit (#2023CLS) - Jul 10 | Hopin.

    There is also a Chapter Leader scholarship to our annual conference, CSTA 2023, at the CSTA+ rate (a $250-$450 savings)!

    Individual Chapter Leaders choosing to use a CSTA 2023 Chapter Leader scholarship should commit to the following:

    1. Help ensure mid-year & annual Chapter Reporting is completed in a timely manner (by the deadline)
    2. Participate in the CLS on July 10
    3. Attend the CSTA 2023 Virtual Conference 

    Please use code CLS2023_x24d when registering.

    Hi Mauree, 

    I'm sorry that it's being persnickety. First, the code will only work for CSTA+ registration. If you're not CSTA+ yet, it's certainly worth the $50 investment for the $200+ discount (and we do ask for all Chapter Leaders to be CSTA+ as ambassadors for CSTA). Next, please be sure that if you copy & pasted, delete any extra space(s) at the end of the code. Finally, please make sure that the upper and lower case matches. 

    If you continue to have trouble, please reach out to conference@csteachers.org, let them know that you're a Chapter Leader attempting to use the discount code, and our amazing Conference Team will certainly be able to get your registration taken care of.

    I'm still setting up the Hopin event for the Chapter Leadership Summit in July. This will be a separate event from the conference. Once we have it situated, I'll open it up for Chapter Leaders to register.

    Is there a fixed number of Chapter Leaders from each chapter that can apply for the scholarship?  Or is it open to all Chapter Leaders?

    I've registered to attend the #2023CLS for Oregon CSTA  I also registered attend CSTA 2023 at the end of Feb to take advantage of the early bird registration discount using my own funds.  Is there any way I could get reimbursed on my registration fee?

    Gotta keep up on those weekly Chapter Leader emails, lol. The Chapter Leader scholarship code was definitely posted before the end of February. 

    Please reach out to conference@csteachers.org, explain the situation, and they should be able to help you. Please also keep in mind that our office is closed on Monday and Tuesday (73/-7/4) for the holiday, and with the conference right around the corner, it may take them just a little bit more time to reply and help you out. 

    Looking forward to seeing you at #2023CLS and the conference. Will any of your other Chapter Leadership team members be joining us, perhaps your new members-at-large? CLS is free!

    Thanks for the quick reply and I must have missed the email about the scholarship code; much like a lot of those CL emails. 😉  I intend to be much better in keeping up with your emails this next year. 👍 I'll follow up with that contact info you posted next week and see what they can do for me about reimbursement. 🤞 As for the #2023CLS, I've asked all of our board members to join me, including the newest members.  Several are still on the fence, but I'll definitely be there and hopefully with some of the other leaders.  Looking forward to connecting with you and the rest of the CSTA community soon.  Until then have a great summer. 🙌
