We are excited to announce, as promised at the Chapter Leadership Summit (CLS) this past July, that
$10 per CSTA+ chapter member (as of 10/31/22) has been sent directly to the 50 chapters that have opted into CSTA's Group Exemption and are ready to receive funding.
In total, we were able to distribute
nearly $18,000 to chapters! 🎉
Your chapter should have received an email from
BILL <
account-services@hq.bill.com> with the subject line, "
Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) wants to pay you via ePayment." This is in fact the notice of payment to your chapter. You can (a) choose to set up the free electronic payment into your chapter's bank account using the directions provided in the email or (b) do nothing, and a hard check will be mailed to the address you provided with your annual reporting this past June. Good job to those of you doing your cybersecurity due diligence who reached out asking whether this email was legit or part of some phishing scheme.
