    Just sharing this out to all chapters to share out to your members. This group of students started out as a small group of HS students thinking big and now they are in college and wanting to continue. As the opportunity is virtual and no-cost, I thought promoting it for them was reasonable. I shared their flyer last year too.

    So, if you can, share this out to your chapter members so they can pass it along to their students.

    I'm teaching middle school right now and talking to our HS CS teachers about running a hackathon. Do you or they have any resources to be shared to help a group get started with their own hackathon?

    That said, the name I was looking for didn't autopopulate. Do they need to be a member of the community? I even tried to tag you but you do not show up.

    You are correct that you can tag only members of the community in the community (using the "@" symbol and then typing the individual's name). 

    You can tag me by typing "@" and then "Jason Boher" - @Jason W. Bohrer.

    Hi,

    EmilyThomforde and her students have done hackathons in CA. They will be a great resource for this. She also ran a virtual session for CSTA CoCal last year titled: Emily Thonforde's World's Shortest Hackathon - don't know if that was recorded.
