Hi Ashley,
Thank you for your help in migrating these events over!
As of early February, CSTA Washington had three events affected by this mail:
3/5/2025 Quarterly Open Membership Meeting, https://washington.csteachers.org/Events/csta-washington-quarterly-open-membership-meeting-mar-2025
3/15/2025 CSTA Washington Physical Computing Workshop 2025, https://washington.csteachers.org/Events/wacsta-physical-computing-workshop-2025
4/26/2025 FUTURE: Foundations for Understanding Technology, Uniting Resources for Educators, https://washington.csteachers.org/Events/future-foundations-for-understanding-technology-uniting-resources-for-educators
All three of these are set up so that they are free to both paid members and non-members. Will registration by non-members be the same after the transition? For both the Physical Computing Workshop and the FUTURE seminar, we need to charge both members and non-members the same (and decided to make it free) because they are largely funded by other organizations.
For the Physical Computing Workshop and the FUTURE Seminar, will the URLS for the registration page listed above be the same after the transition? We have already distributed other marrketing materials that utilize these URLs so if they will change, we want to act now.
Also, CSTA Washington is planning to mail its March newsletter on Mar 3 or 4 using MemberNova. Will this be affected at all by the switchover? Will non-paid members also receive this mailing? This newsletter will contain info about Unified Membership. Yes, we know we will be losing this content after the switchover to Higher Logic.
Thank you for all your help in these challenging times.
Sincerely,
