This is fantastic news; thank you for all you do! I assume some of the standard updates will focus more on AI as this field grows, and more proficiency will have to be achieved by our students in programming and understanding the implications of AI integrations. Thank you to Google, Amazon, and NSF for supporting us! Hopefully, many more funders will get on board.

Subject: ICYMI: CSTA Takes Over the White House
To share with your chapter's members (and for you too!):
As part of CSEdWeek, CSTA leadership and members were at the White House on Tuesday to emphasize the importance of inclusive AI in computer science. The event included a keynote from CSTA Executive Director Jake Baskin and CSTA Board Chair Charity Freeman, as well as a panel discussion "Voices From the Field: Educator Perspectives" featuring CSTA members.
As a part of the event, Baskin also shared $1.6 million in new funding commitments for CSTA to embark on a comprehensive update of the CSTA K-12 Computer Science Standards as well as a $1.5 Million Collaboration to Empower the Future of Computer Science Education with Amazon.
