Hello, I am a PhD candidate recruiting K-12 computing teachers for a study, see below for description and a sign-up link.

Study Description: Computing technology has changed the world both for better and for worse. However, computing education has mostly ignored these influences in favor of teaching coding skills and job preparation. If you are a K-12 teacher who teaches computing classes (broadly defined), you are invited to participate in a co-design research study aiming to integrate critical theory into K-12 computing education. You will participate in professional learning activities, interviews, and co-design sessions with the goal of designing and implementing a lesson plan which supports your students in taking a critical perspective on computing in society. The professional learning and co-design sessions will take place soon in autumn 2024, and implementation of your lesson plan will happen in spring 2025. You will be compensated $500 in Amazon gift cards for completing the study.
