Since the Chapter Success Rubric's inception more than three years ago, chapters have grown in many new and exciting ways. Recognizing the need for the Chapter Success Rubric to reflect this growth, the Chapter Leader Committee along with the Regional Chapter Support Coordinators worked together to update the Chapter Success Rubric to better align it with the current state of CSTA chapters:
Some of the more noticeable changes include:
- Clarity on what constitutes the minimum expectations of chapters
- The removal of optional metrics (e.g., Advocacy & Mentoring)
- Specificity with regard to professional development and support for chapter members
- More concrete language in terms of the metrics themselves at each level
Over the next month, we'd like your feedback on the rubric. Please let us know where you have specific questions or concerns so that we can address them prior to the new rubric's official release at the
Mid-Year Chapter Leadership Summit on February 4, 2023 (Save-the-Date). Please thread your comments, questions, and concerns here so that the entire Chapter Leader Community can see them.
We appreciate your help as we continue to grow and evolve as Leaders, as Chapters, and as CSTA Members.
