Did you attend CSTA 2025 in Cleveland and still want to share and process what you learned? Or maybe you couldn't make it and that FOMO (fear of missing out) on the new and interesting topics in computing education is just driving you crazy?
Our second CSTA Western Chapters regional meetup - the September Lunch and Learn - a CSTA 2025 retrospective is just a week away!
Bring your lunch and eat by the computer. Our speakers will share interesting things they learned at the conference, then we'll have time to network and debrief!
The agenda for the day will be
- 12:00-12:15: Welcome, ice breaker
- 12:15 -12:45 Folks will give 3-5 minute presentations on interesting things they saw
- 12:45-1:30: Breakout rooms based on people's interest in topics either presented or otherwise.
- 1:30-2:00 "Appy Hour": Social time! Chatting, game playing, continued discussion - depending on how long people want to stay on.
