I am working with MIT Sea Grant to develop a new marine robotics challenge to bridge the gap between SeaPerch / SeaPerch2 and Roboboat
For the modules on SeaPerch 2 that require physical computing we used Arduino, but for this we want to build on the new GoSense controller (a central brain controller that contains a raspberry Pi and interconnects to actuators and sensor).
So I'm looking for a good Python development environment that is free, open source, and can run on a Pi and a student laptop.
I greatly appreciate your recommendations and ideas!
