Hello CSTA-SD Members,
We wanted to pass along a research opportunity from Austin Moore, a graduate student at Boston College studying Science Education. Austin is currently collecting data for his dissertation, which focuses on how secondary science teachers use Generative AI (GenAI) tools in their instructional practice.
While this study is specifically for secondary science teachers (grades 6–12), we know many of you work alongside science colleagues or may even teach across disciplines. If this fits you - or someone in your building - please consider participating or sharing the opportunity!
Here's what's involved:
• A single online survey, approximately 15–20 minutes
• No prior GenAI experience required
• Participants must be 18+ and currently teaching science in grades 6–12
• Participation is completely voluntary
• Completed surveys are entered into a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card
