  • 1.  State of CS 2022 Report - Please share your ideas

    Posted 08-10-2022 11:58 AM

As the Code.org Advocacy Coalition, CSTA, and ECEP teams work together on the State of CS 2022 Report, please take a few minutes to share your ideas related to one or both of these questions.

This report provides a snapshot of K–12 computer science education policy and implementation across the U.S. and in each state. It includes:
      • a summary of national trends,
      • a description of nine state policies prioritizing computer science education,
      • data on disparities in students' access to and participation in computer science, and,
      • for the first time, K–12 computer science enrollment data and preliminary K–8 access data.

Please click here to view the State of CS 2021 report.

    Jason,
I have my report here on my desk and it has been a great tool for discussions and reports.  Being a state who is emerging in the state-wide CS education deployment, it is great to share with my peers where we are compared to other states with similar demographics and or rural challenges.  It guides who to seek out to see how specific policies are established etc.

It is a great resource and I am thankful for all the work that goes into making this state-wide resource available in an easy-to-read format.
