Is it possible for MemberNova to start collecting and displaying zip code information on the list of chapter members? Also if we could download the basic member data for our chapter into a CSV etc, that would be great too.
One of the challenges our Puget Sound (WA) chapter faces as we expand is how do we promote more in-person events among members who live near each other and may not be able to easily attend an event in Seattle/Bellevue. Right now, we only have location info if member has e-mail associated with a particular school. So its difficult to arrange small "neighborhood" events as we don't know generally where our members live/work.
What are other chapters doing to track the geographical locations of their members? Does any chapter experiment with "neighborhood" gatherings outside (or even within) their main population centers?
