    Greetings all,

    Working on a coding camp for 4th -8th graders for the summer using Microsoft MakeCode.  Wanted to get you all's opinions, critiques, and tweaks on the course i have laid out.  It is attached as a PDF.

    This might not be super useful to you as I look at it with High School Teacher lenses and I am sure different contexts for a summer camp vs a full semester class means different needs.

    I get the layout of the course and you have most of the parts I would look for, but the biggest thing missing is assessment.

    You have unit objectives, strategies and Achievable markers, but how do you know that students have reached those objectives? What is your follow up plan for students who are struggling to meet them in your allotted timeframe?

    hey BB, that is great feedback actually.  You gave me a factor that i will have to include.  Any suggestions/strategies on how i can encourage the students who are struggling to meet the markers?
