    Applications for Summer 2025 PD with the Beauty and Joy of Computing are now open!
    We are offering PD for the below curriculum:
    • BJC Sparks - A middle school / early high school curriculum that teaches a functional approach to programming via media, data, and robotics (learn more: https://bjc.berkeley.edu/sparks/)
    • BJC CS Principles - An AP CS Principles high school curriculum (learn more: https://bjc.edc.org/)
    When: July 28 - August 1, 2025 from 8am - 2pm PT
    Where: Online
    Cost: Free for Public School Teachers
    Application Deadlines:
    • Priority Deadline (for stipend spots): May 31, 2025
    • Final Deadline: July 11, 2025

    Stipends: Available for public school teachers. Sparks participants will also get microbit hardware + accessories to keep. Stipend spots are limited and priority will be given to those who apply before May 31, 2025.
    Can't attend these workshops? Our self-paced CSP PD is available online at no cost starting June 23 throughout the summer. Enroll by August 1 at bjc.berkeley.edu/summer-pd.
