That is pretty awesome. One of my students got his foot in the door doing Architecture things before getting hired by Activision.

Being in the Game Design Wilderness of Kentucky (just a handful of Indies out here) We have started to focus more on the Simlumations/virtual production side of things. We have partnered with a local home builder to do virtual walk-throughs of client houses. We just got a "Ready Player-One" style VR treadmill for walk-throughs. We are renovating one high school and building a new middle school. The district "hired us" to do virtual renderings of both buildings. We are about halfway through the high school (making a slanted floor auditorium in Unity is a bear) and are waiting on the blueprints and rendering from the architect for the middle school. We made some websites where you can try on glasses and school "senior" rings. Virtual production is a little slow as we dismantled our media production facilities a few years ago. It has really gotten kids to think about other uses for the skills (both hard & soft) that they learn in the Game Design Pathway.

College/Career Outreach
What stuff are you guys doing?
- I have a few colleges out every year (U of Silicon Valley, FIDM) to talk to my classes.
- I have my intro kids do a career exploration project as their final.
- I am hopefully going to do a field trip to a school and/or a studio (working on doing San Jose area)
