    Hey all, 

    It is the start of spring semester (at least here in my neck of the woods).

    Just seeing what you are all doing for PD conferences and such. Also getting a headcount for GDC this year.

    I will be going all week.

    I'll be attending GDC as well, for most of the week. I will be coming home early I think on Thursday.

    My only other PD is that my school pays me to take one college course per year. I am going through this Coursera course this spring to just see how another teacher goes through a Unity project and learn some new tricks and methods to do things.

    I've taken that Coursera course too.  I thought it was great.

    I'm jealous that you get paid conferences.  The one time I tried to get CSTA conference reimbursed they told me they'd approve it but then it was a mess due to the budget year switches between making payment and actually attending. 

    I have new admin now and next PD day they are actually going to teach us how to do our budgets so I'm definitely going to try again!

    I thoroughly enjoyed last year's CSTA conference. Fair warning, there's a large number of AI sessions (or at least it felt like it... maybe because that's what I was most interested in attending), and there wasn't hardly anything related to Game Development (or maybe I was less interested in them so I didn't notice them as much... not sure).
