Chapter Leaders

In past years, there have been efforts around the U.S. to have a Week of CS in the Summer.   As I recall these are designed for a week in which there are a number of workshops which are either week-long or at least a couple of days (maybe even some one-day workshops?) where CS educators at all levels can find some workshops they can attend.  Something like this has happened sponsored by Infosys and  the Colorado School of Mines.  Chapters have run such weeks dedicated to CS I believe.

We're looking for ideas both for topics and presenters for a weeklong CS Ed week; also to possibly email with as we develop our own in WI.  Perhaps I'm overlooking some document of list of such events at this point.  If you are or have been involved in such an effort, please post a link or whatever to get ides from.

One thing I think all of the chapters should promote in the summer is Infosys Foundation USA Summer Pathfinders Institute.  A variety of providers will be offering FREE PD often with FREE Hardware through this initiative.  This coming summer's PD will not be available until the new year, but it is worth keeping an eye out for.
