    Hi Lauren,

    I thought you might be able to share this out with the PSCSTA mailing list for us?

    I'm reaching out on behalf of the National Center for Women & Information Technology: Seattle and Western Washington committee. We'd like to invite high school students who identify as women , genderqueer, or non-binary to apply for the Aspirations in Computing Award. If your students are interested, we are also providing an upcoming information session for students and their loved ones to learn more about the award and application process. Please share our message to students below! 

    Finally, educators, NCWIT also awards an educator award that you might be interested in! To learn about other awards like our educator and collegiate awards, click here

    Hello!

    We are excited to share that the application is open for the NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing. The Award for AiC honors 9th - 12th grade women, genderqueer, and non-binary students for their computing-related achievements and interests, and encourages them to pursue their passions. Award recipients: 

    • Receive recognition from a national nonprofit leader in diversity in technology.

    • Join a network of more than 20,000 women, genderqueer, and non-binary tehcnologists 

    • Provide exclusive access to computing hackathons, internships, scholarships, jobs, awards, funding opportunities, and more.


    We encourage all who are interested in computing and meet the eligibility criteria to apply! The application is due November 5, 2021 at 11:59PM ET.
