Hey all,
Before I dive into Unity I do some work with analog game design and video game level design. I use a bunch of nintendo switches and mario maker 2 to focus on level design. I show GameMakers Toolkit video on Nintendo's 4-step level design and then have my students first make a practice anything level for fun, then a well crafted 4 stage introduction to a specific theme/mechanic. This usually goes really well.
My question - has anyone used the Portal 2 puzzle maker? Would this be worth the time to learn it for a single project? What is the learning curve like? I want to use it for a single level design project and then move on.
Cheers,
Brendan
